Before Shooting Began

I am merely another opthalmologist among millions of

framed posters for action movies.

This anxiety condition, where it would sometimes faint,

is at the craft service table, picking at food.

Because the bustier has landed on his general stitches,

the phone mouthpiece flipped up so she can't be heard.

From spending so much time slumped over with misery,

it's amazing how much these suckers will pay for photographs.

When terrified they do this thing where they flicker from

meditating on my inability to experience passion.

Then we see from the way they start laughing warmly, smiling

on the grass outside, transfixed by a colony of ants.
