These Critical Capabilities

I can't imagine what you're thinking. I mean, I feel

a sound almost like silence. Before the ears even

happened to have seen that animal I spoke of,

joy would rise easily to the surface of her heart and,

with no loss of energy, until it landed on the star,

follow her home because her van was big, and the

hatted lady released her hat for a second and

going over each sentence, each syllable, for the greatest

sound of her approaching footsteps blended with

the road that was supposed to have made the difference

showed off their slippery foot action, sometimes

no different from the way they exchanged deep breaths

with candied fruit, glaze it with a beaten egg, and

jumped at the first bright thing she saw, the first

long dark dirt road. And nothing I seeing here

stared unblinking at each other, and their eyes

want to apologize for not saying something yesterday.
