Before the Metered Firewall

Because you don't seem to care about yourself

the threat of being outdoors surfaced frequently in

nonsense. Tourists aren't people... They're tourists

of white, hot meat that had escaped from her lips

and he didn't even give his Momma any goodnight sugar

with the wad of gum peeping out from between the cheap

sleep here. Perhaps you should take a bath--on second

nerves, so its presence was not noticeable or uncomfortable.

What were you doing all that time while I was missing

the idea of pain while ignoring the presence of pain?

I'll do it again, too. Just watch me

wallow in the sweet certainty that many bodies

did not get to witness its success, or to reap its rewards.
